Last month, we were thrilled to complete yet another landmark project, on time and within budget – Haviland House and the Bradbury Wellbeing Centre for people with dementia.
Built on behalf of Guild Care, the £7million pound home has been in the works for three years, and focuses on providing excellent dementia care at every stage of the illness.
The state-of-the-art interior incorporates dementia friendly wall finishings, floors, curtains, lighting furniture and orientation of objects to enhance residents’ wellbeing. Everything has been designed sensitively to the needs of people with dementia and can improve their quality of life, decrease stress levels and benefit their family members and carers.
We worked with Guild Care and Colourways, interior designs, in order to build a forward thinking living environment which will support the needs of over 450 people with dementia, and their carers, each year.
