Building Construction Partnership is pleased to announce a recently started scheme in Forty Hill Enfield. The 75-bed care scheme received unanimous planning approval and will start construction to aim for a late 2020 opening.
The latest image shows the project progressing to programme. The basement RC walls are complete and the tower crane in the foreground is being erected ready for the steel frame and concrete floors.

In order to protect the surrounding trees, sheet piles have been driven into the ground to stabilise the ground and prevent movement within the tree root preservation areas. This was done before we could begin the excavation of the basement.
The photo below was taken 2 weeks later and shows the basement part excavated within the sheet piled supports.
The site was prepared for development earlier. As part of this preparation, the ground was tested and reports were produced in line with current building regulations and practices. Planning reports, ecology reports and design works were also undertaken and approved.
This new residential care home will include a cafe, cinema and hair salon, for residents to use throughout their stay.
