Heron Manor Care Home, Fleet: Topping Out and Community Recognition
We recently celebrated a major construction milestone at the Heron Manor Care Home site in Fleet with a successful ‘topping out’ ceremony. The event marked the completion of the building’s main structure and was attended by our partners at Principle Care Homes and a local councillor.
We were particularly proud that the councillor praised Building Construction Partnership for our outstanding integration with the local community, confirming that he had not received a single letter or email of complaint since the project began. This recognition reinforces our reputation for professional, neighbour-conscious construction.
The client expressed their thanks for the progress and quality of the build to date. They will be producing their own marketing content featuring the development, which we look forward to sharing in due course.
Grove Road, Harpenden: Three Months Ahead of Programme
Following on from our ground-breaking late last year, progress at the innovative Harpenden Springs Care Home has been exceptional. We are pleased to report that the building is now watertight with the roof fully complete, allowing internal works to commence three months ahead of the original programme. This significant acceleration is a testament to the proactive management and collaborative spirit between our site team and our partners at Oakland Care.
This rapid progress has been matched by our commitment to site safety and community engagement. We recently received a formal letter of recognition from the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), commending our proactive and exemplary approach to site safety standards. Furthermore, we are proudly sponsoring a local school fair, and have received direct praise from local residents regarding the site’s tidiness and organisation.

Ashton Meadows Care Home, Kingston: Successful Handover Nears
As we approach the final stages of the Ashton Meadows project for Ashton Care Homes, our team has completed the Making Good Defects inspection in record time. The few remaining items were minor and are being closed out without delay, ensuring a seamless and efficient handover.
This result is a direct reflection of the high-quality construction, meticulous finishing, and robust site management maintained throughout the project’s lifecycle. We are proud to be delivering this state-of-the-art facility and look forward to working with Ashton Care Homes on future projects.
Tudor House Care Home, Croydon: On Track and Progressing Smoothly
Work at the Tudor House redevelopment in Croydon continues to advance exactly as planned. As of this update, roofing works are on track to be completed within the next fortnight, adhering to the original programme.
With the structure progressing well, internal works have now commenced. These are proceeding smoothly, ensuring the project remains aligned with both its delivery timetable and cost plan.
