Phase II underway at Broadmead Rest Home, Newbury

We are currently working on the refurbishment and extension of a rest home in Newbury, Hampshire.

Broadmead rest home is situated in the delightful village of Woolton Hill, along a leafy lane, so extra special care has to be taken with building material deliveries and noise. We work in conjunction with the care home management team to keep disruption to a minimum not only for the current residents within the care home but for the residents living nearby.

The home is currently home to residents with a variety of needs including Dementia, mental health condition, old age and physical disability.

The work involves transferring a 20-year-old home, with a current capacity of 17 beds, into a modern boutique care home with 34 bedrooms, all with full ensuite facilities, specifically designed with the elderly in mind.

The refurbishment and extension is being undertaken in phases with a planned completion date in September 2017.
