care home construction in progress in enfield

Latest update from Enfield

Our current care home construction project at Enfield is progressing on time and to budget, despite what the weather throws at us.

Can’t believe the progress that has been made on out Enfield site which opens in November – great job by BCP construction led by Brian Bullock

Joanne Balmer, Chief Executive Officer, Oakland Care

At the end of last year, the wet weather restricted us in the use of the crane and the movement of materials. The site is very tight and everything needs to be carefully planned and scheduled to maximise the build and remain on schedule. Despite this bad weather we managed to keep the build on programme.

Now, as you can see in the images, the brickwork is in its final stages of construction, ready for the roof structure which will begin next week.

Below the images show topping out ready for the roof structure, as well as the work on the end gable. Also, you can the lower roof has been fitted, ready for the upper roof the started this week.

Lower roof on and on programme for the upper roofs next week.
