We are proud to announce the completion on plan of the slate roof on our current care home build in Enfield.
During these unprecedented times, work and timescales have been difficult to manage as we work hard to make sure everyone on site is safe. Working together as a team we have managed to work safely on site at a reduced capacity, whilst distancing. Even though this has been tough and required a lot of flexibility with differing trades, we have managed to remain on target in accordance with our contract.
The other problem which we have successfully negotiated around, was the delivery of materials. As the UK and world was locked-down, materials became scarce, but through our network, we managed to secure the deliveries we needed to continue in a safe manner.
In keeping with the area and in conjunction with the area’s conservation group, the roof has been completed in a second hand welsh slate, especially chosen to enhance the detailed large roof. This was completed along with rolled lead ridges and hips, dormers and chimneys.
We are really proud of our excellent team who have worked safely and conciensionsly througohut this period to deliver an exceptional quality build for our client.
