Here at Building Construction Partnership, we’re excited to share news about a new project we’ve recently begun: the redevelopment of Tudor House, a care home located in Croydon.
What’s Happening?
We’re currently in the initial phase of this project, which involves the demolition of two existing residential units. This will make way for the construction of a new, architecturally designed building at the rear of Tudor House. These new buildings will provide much-needed additional space, creating a 53-55 bed care home with state-of-the-art facilities.
A Focus on Sustainability and Functionality
The new building will be designed with the environment in mind, targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating. This prestigious certification signifies exceptional sustainability performance, ensuring the care home is energy-efficient and environmentally responsible.
The project also includes alterations to ground levels, creating additional parking spaces for residents and staff. Landscaping will be a key feature, with beautiful gardens designed to provide a tranquil and inviting space for residents.
Enhanced Care Facilities
This redevelopment will significantly increase the number of rooms at Tudor House, expanding from its current capacity of 37 rooms to an impressive 100 bedrooms. This allows Assured Care to cater to a wider range of residents, providing exceptional care in a modern and comfortable setting.
A New Chapter for Neurological Care
The redeveloped Tudor House will specialise in neurological care, offering specialised services and amenities to meet the specific needs of residents.
