Ashton Meadows Nursing Home is the flagship of the Ashton Group. This luxury seven-diamond facility was designed by John Bell, a well-known architect who has won the Pinders Designer of the Year Award and is being built by the highly acclaimed Yorkshire Firm BCP, whose expertise is high-spec nursing homes.
This team worked with Design LSM, the luxury interior designers from Brighton, and the winner of the LIV Design Awards 2023. This collaboration of expertise has resulted in the creation of the seven-diamond luxury nursing facility here in Coombe Hill, close to Wimbledon, and there’s nothing quite like this in the country.
This facility will provide a post-operative nursing wing and a dementia nursing wing and is located less than a hundred meters from Kingston Hospital in Coombe Lane West. And this facility is set in a luxury one-acre site with beautifully landscaped grounds for the residents to relax and enjoy the tranquillity.
The site backs onto Coombe Wood Golf Course and is close to Richmond Park. There’s quite a few standouts that make this nursing home very special. All the bedrooms are suites, and many of these are 23 meters square plus. This means they’re more than double the standard 12 meters square that most homes provide, thereby providing ample space for our residents.
The home has a grand entrance and a reception. Together with a dedicated bistro and orangery for families to relax and grab a coffee. The home has a luxury cinema room with a bar, so families could use it for family get-togethers or birthdays. There are a number of activity rooms with a laser disc technology of interactive games for our residents to enjoy.
There are high specified dining rooms, creating a restaurant feel for our residents to wine and dine and relax in. There is a hairdresser, salon, and also a library.
