It has been specially built as a place for transitioning from full-time residential care, into a more independent way of living, specifically for younger adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

The main house has a large entrance hall with communal toilet, a large kitchen/dining room and lounge, with patio doors leading out to the tennis court and garden. The main house is also equipped with a quiet room on the first floor, for residents wanting a little bit of peace and quiet!

All bedrooms in the main house have en-suite shower rooms, while the flats have fully fitted bathrooms, kitchen and lounge areas.

Merecroft support adults with a variety of learning disabilities, including Autism, Epilepsy and behaviours that challenge, and residents are assured of a 1:1 carer to service user ratio.
